Mutations are multipliers, not item names.
A mutation changes what a crop sells for. The useful entry says which weather produces it, how long the window lasts and which source published the multiplier.

NOTES
Reading a multiplier without over-claiming
Community guides publish multipliers as round numbers — 40×, 70×, 25× — and those numbers move between updates. The entry keeps the multiplier as a guide value with the date it was read, rather than presenting it as a formula the game guarantees. When two guides disagree the entry keeps both, because a player planning around 70× needs to know that another page says 50×.
Duration matters as much as the multiplier. A high multiplier inside a short window is only reachable if the crop is already grown and the server is still open; a low multiplier that lasts a whole session can beat it in practice. That is why the weather page and the mutation entry are read together instead of as separate trivia.
Stacking is where most advice goes wrong. The site only combines multipliers that were observed active at the same time, and it never invents a total. If you cannot confirm that a bonus was live when you harvested, treat the payout as the base crop and use the calculator to see the floor before you plan around the ceiling.
